Streamlining Your Workflow: Navigation Redesign
Making FinaHQ More Intuitive
Logical Grouping for Faster Access
We’ve consolidated 15+ standalone menu items into 5 clear sections:
📊 Standard Reports (formerly Financial Statements)
– Your go-to for Projects and standard reporting
📈 Custom Reports
– Everything custom in one place: templates, views, bookmarks, and history
🗄 Data & Templates
– Centralized data management: Global Data Tables, Auto Journals, Formula Aliases
🔧 Tools
– Technical utilities: ERP Exports, AI GL Mapping (now out of beta!)
Space When You Need It
The new collapsible sidebar gives you more room for complex reports. Your preference is automatically saved.
Why We Made These Changes
Our analytics showed users spending unnecessary time navigating between related features. The new structure reduces clicks by 40% for common workflows.
What Stays the Same:
– All your data, bookmarks, and configurations
– Core functionality and features
– User permissions and access levels
We’re confident these changes will make your daily tasks more efficient. The navigation now reflects the natural flow of financial closing and reporting processes.
